Abdul Halder took the first major step towards his career by splendidly designing for none other than Michael Jackson in 2002. Abdul Halder then moved and began designing the whole range of 'Maharaja's of India', working with an Italian fashion house.

His revisited India and unveiled his classy white wedding gown at the Lakme Fashion Week, 2006. Last year, he also participated at the Dubai Fashion Week with his Mafia collection, show at the Bulgarian high commission 07, And also  presented his Paparazzi' collection at the lakme fashion week fall winter 08
