Mumbai, August 26: The launch party of the Hawaiian Princess Night, this Tuesday night was quite a rocking one. The Hawaiian Shack at Bandra is run by Ms. Sadhna Romy, the ONLY FEMALE owner successfully running a night-club in our country! The idea behind the launch of Hawaiian Princess Night is to make women feel more special and load them with goodies and one lucky girl gets to wear an exquisite tiara and bags herself a mega gift hamper. This event is bound to take place every Tuesday night for 6 weeks till October 7, 2008.
Tuesday night, being the first and the launch, saw Ms. Riya Sen, our own popular Bollywood sensation, giving away the tiara and mega hamper to the lucky lady for the night, Ms. Sonali, who was crowned the Hawaiian Princess!
"I want to promote an environment safe for women that I have created in my club. I want youngsters to visit Shack, not just because it's a great place with good music but because they feel protected. I know about the world out there and being a mother I realize this need", emphasizes Ms. Sadhna.
The 'Hawaiian Princess Nights' launch party held last night saw a number of models, TV stars and Page3 people in attendance. Among them were Bollywood star Riya Sen, Punjabi-rap singer, now a hit with Bollywood Hard Kaur, artist and art collector Suketu Parekh, actors Gary Richardson and Pooja Missra along with friend Shifa, TV personality Sudhanshu Pandey and Brinda Parekh, model Nina Manuel and socialites Bijon Dasgupta, Alex .
Riya (she was coming out of high fever) dressed in all black looked her best as usual. Hard Kaur was seen wearing a long flowy tube dress which was colorful and suited the Hawaiian theme. Her new cool hair cut made her receive quite a lot of compliments. Nina Manuel was smiling away even though working hard for her show After Hrs. This hottie was certainly dressed to kill as she was draped in a black dhoti and a sexy black tube. She was quite an eye catcher. Pooja Missra seemed to have a lot of fun with her cool white hat on!
This was one of the best parties that Mumbai party animals could experience as people were having so much fun that they had to be politely reminded about the 1:30 deadline, as they were in no mood to leave!
